Shipping Policies


For convenience and speedy service, textbooks ordered using this site will be packed and waiting for you in a special checkout section of the Bookstore. Textbooks and course supplies will not be shipped.

Clothing and novelty items can be returned within 25 days of shipment for refund or exchange with receipt. Textbook returns are done in-store only. Policy on textbook refunds are as follows:

Textbook Refunds (Purchases and Rentals)

Refunds will only be given on textbooks if a student has dropped the class and the following conditions have been met:

  • A valid cash register receipt (or copy) accompanies the text with a copy of your current schedule reflecting dropped class.
  • Books are returned to Crete Campus by date on receipt card.
  • Books are returned to the Grand Island or Lincoln campus by the Friday after census.
  • Used books are in resalable condition. Book cover & pages are not bent, torn, or missing.
  • New books are not damaged, written in, marked on, spine has not been bent or broken. Condition to be determined by Bookstore Management.
  • Wrapped (texts) or boxed merchandise have not been unwrapped or opened.
  • Defective books should be returned at once!

Books offered for rental may be placed on student account but credit card info must be captured to secure rental (you will be prompted). Rental texts must be returned NO LATER than last day of term to avoid being charged full price for text and any penalties.
